Hi Maureen
Could request circles achieve this for you?
Try manual Page # 106976
Only problem is that from the manual, I'm not sure if the patron needs
to explicitly set a pickup location first.
Michael

Subject: Reservations via a portal
Dear All
Advise/help please. We have three sites and we allow students to place
reservations on available items as long as they are not actually placing
the hold on campus at that site (where the book is sitting) if that
makes sense. We have just introduced a portal which forces all users of
the library system in through one IP address. This means that our off
campus students cannot place holds because the system thinks they are
sitting in the LRC. Have any other sites managed a way around this
problem? The only way I can think of is to remove all restrictions but
for obvious reasons I am a bit reluctant
