Hi Sarah,
The short answer is, yes, you can include any relevant experience gained
post-qualification.
For example, today I read an article in Y Ddolen (p.19), a publication from
CILIP Wales, "tinker, tailor, soldier, librarian" by Emma Rye about how
almost everything she has learnt in the TA is transferable and relevant to
her job and her organisation.

Subject: Drawing on previous experiences
Hello,
I have a feeling I should know the answer to this, but was hoping
someone out there might
be have had the same sort of query at some point.
I have only just started out on the process of chartering, and am
wondering if we are
able to draw on any relevant experience gained post-qualification but in
not in a
professional post? This was gained in a previous position, and I really
wouldn't know how
I'd give evidence, but during the period between gaining a qualification
and getting a
professional post, I think I did gain some useful experience!
Can anyone help? Sorry if this is a bit of a daft questions!
Thanks
Sarah
