medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
With the usual expression of regret for any untoward consequences of
cross-posting.
For next summer's International Medieval Congress at Leeds, a session
on medieval and modern perspectives on medieval chivalry and warfare
now needs a third 20-minute paper. Papers must be scholarly in
orientation and may be delivered in any major European language. The
dates of the congress are 10-13 July 2006; this session (no. 206) is
scheduled for 14:15 hrs. on Monday, 10 July.
Proposals (including paper title and a brief abstract not exceeding 100
words) should be sent directly to the Congress staff at:
[log in to unmask]
and should specify that this is in reference to ***session 206***.
All proposals will be assessed as quickly as possible. As the 2006
programme has not yet gone to the printer's, it is just possible that
prompt and cogent submission will lead to the sort of immortality that
only appearance in the Leeds IMC programme book can confer. Further
information on the congress may be found at:

With all best wishes,
John Dillon
