Today (21. December) is the feast day of:
Honoratus of Toulouse (3rd cent.) Honoratus was the successor of
Saturninus as bishop of Toulouse
Anastasius II of Antioch (d. 609) This patriarch of Antioch won his
place on the calendar by being murdered by Syrian Jews in rebellion
against Emperor Phocas.
John Vincent (d. 1012) John was a native of Ravenna who spent some
time as a bishop in northern Italy before becoming a hermit on Monte
Pirchiano. He and his disciples ended up founding the monastery of
St. Michael of Chiusa.
