say, if you're monitoring Gallica on a regular basis anyway, howsabout playing
Izbecki and keeping us posted with some relevant "Recent Titles" from time to
time?
put an edge on your "do good for Humanity" blade.

well, "image quality" is not nearly as important on those French Gubbermint
sites as is "image quantity" --my own theory is that Gallica (and the other
Ministre de Kulture sites) was conceived by Geniuses to be executed by Idiots,
the latter getting paid by the piece.
i've seen images which only work "en principe" --my favorite ones are the maps
which cannot be read at all.
