I feel a bit out of my depth with all the anthropologists signing up here. Most
of the anthropologists I work with are physical or forensic anthropologists.
I'm a forensic toxicologist interested in, among other things, the sacremental
use of intoxicants. I'm also interested in the interaction of witchcraft &
magic with criminal investigation. (Rape, murder and advertising magical cures
for cancer - this last being something almost entirely restricted to UK
residents originating from subharan africa, being amoungst the cases I have
been involved in.
By religious inclination I am a non Christ centred Quaker, which some might say
makes me only a smidge away from being a pagan. One thing I am not is any sort
of adept or practitioner of magic.
