E-CONTENT AND COPYRIGHT
5 December 2005, London
With the increase in the creation, communication and exchange of digital content, it has never been more important to understand the issues and restrictions surrounding its use. A lack of awareness about copyright issues can result in infringing other peoples' copyright and the loss of control over your own econtent.
This workshop will identify the relevance of the copyright legislation to the digital environment. It will offer solutions to copyright compliance issues and discuss the restrictions. The session will also include practical exercises for dealing with digital rights and protecting digital content. The afternoon will conclude with project work involving participants in real-life scenarios for managing copyright within econtent creation programmes.
Using a lively presentation style, the trainer will encourage active participation in a relaxed and friendly learning environment.
THE BENEFITS OF ATTENDING
By the end of the day, participants will have:
· Identified the key issues relating to econtent and copyright
· Explored the relevant changes in the copyright legislation
