The Research and Audit Division at the Royal Australasian College of
Surgeons manages the Australian Safety and Efficacy Register of New
Interventional Procedures – Surgical (ASERNIP-S), a program which assesses
new and emerging surgical technologies and techniques. The Division, based
in Adelaide, is also responsible for the implementation and management of
the Australian and New Zealand Surgical Mortality Audits, Electronic
Logbooks and other clinical morbidity audits.
Position available: Senior Research Officer – Systematic Reviews
This person will conduct systematic reviews of new surgical procedures and
other evaluations of surgical research as well as contributing to
improving the quality of ASERNIP-S outputs. They will have proven
experience in systematic reviews/health technology assessments and
experience in economic evaluation would be an advantage. A supervisory
component will be a part of this role.
Salary: The salary range for this position is AU$55,384 - AU$63,557
(includes 9% superannuation).
