Hi Ken,
The CETIS Enterprise SIG focuses on this area, and there is a list of projects
and contact details at:
http://www.cetis.ac.uk/members/enterprise/enterpriseprojects.
People are now using the newer Enterprise Web Services
Spec(http://www.imsglobal.org/es/index.html) to transfer learner data between
systems (see NIIMLE and SUNIWE projects in particular). As Edward says,
Brockenhurst has also done a lot of work in this area.
At the next Enterprise SIG meeting on 5th Dec, Nigel Peet from South Cheshire
College will be discussing using enterprise successfully to create and update
student accounts across college systems. Meeting info at:
http://www.cetis.ac.uk/members/members/enterprise/registration/meetingtwelve.
I've cc'ed this email to the Enterprise SIG mailing list.
