Apologies for cross-posting.....

This is a reminder that there are still places available for the GEOFORUM
2005 in YORK on FRIDAY 4 NOVEMBER, between 10am and 4pm.
You can register for the event online at:
http://edina.ac.uk/events/geoforum05.html . There is no charge for
attendance, and lunch is provided.
The main purposes of the event are:
* To inform the academic community about a range of current geo-related
activities.
* To gather views from the academic community about where priorities for
further development should lie.
This year we welcome Prof. David Unwin of Birkbeck and University Colleges,
London who will give the keynote presentation.
The GeoForum is open to all staff members of the UK FE and HE community but
is primarily aimed at staff who support research and teaching. If you are
an EDINA site representative, this event is definitely for you! Please
feel free to pass this to other staff in your institution who may be
interested in attending.
Kind regards,
Emma Sutton
