Dear All,
Apologies for cross-posting .......
I happened across the following exhibition on Saturday morning:
'Samplers - Mapped & Charted'
Exhibition at Witney Antiques, 96-100 Corn Street, Witney,
Oxfordshire - 10-29 October 2005, 10.00-17.00, open daily, admission
free.
The exhibition consists of 40 embroidered maps, and there's a lavish
glossy accompanying catalogue, priced GBP 15.00 (+ GBP
2.00 p+p) / GBP 19.00 overseas. All exhibits are illustrated in full
colour.
