Dear Sarah, Dear All,

I have been in  touch with Bob Garvey at Sheffield Hallam University Leader 
of the Mentoring & Coaching Research Unit.

He is very interested in joining our BERA SIG discussion.

 He has also been in touch with David Clutterbuck and David Megginson and I 
am sure you will all agree it will be excellent to hear about their work in 
the Business sector.

This is an exciting, innovative and flexible part-time programme, delivered 
in Block form. You can study to Postgraduate
Certificate level, Diploma level or take the whole MSc. This course is 
suitable for people who are currently working as
mentors or coaches, as scheme organizers, or for those who wish to move into 
mentoring and coaching consultancy.

Key areas studied include:

* mentoring & coaching scheme design - recruitment, matching, training, 
development
* mentoring & coaching skills
* supervision
* creating a mentoring and coaching culture
* leading edge mentoring & coaching research
* evaluation of mentoring & coaching

All blocks include skills practice and group discussion. In addition, the 
course also gives people the opportunity to develop
their mentoring & coaching on modules that focus on:

* organisational change
* consultancy
* research
* strategic & organisational analysis

This course is delivered by national experts and best selling authors in the 
area including:

* Professor David Clutterbuck,Clutterbuck Associates and co-founder of the 
European Mentoring & Coaching Council
* Professor David Megginson, co-founder and co-chair of the European 
Mentoring & Coaching Council
