medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Hello Laura,
Your postcard may not have the exactly definitive date, which is usually given as
c.1340-50. I have a reference from another work to Eduard Sebald, Hochgotischer
Dialog. Die Skulpturen der Hochaltare von Marienstatt und Oberwesel im Vergleich
(Worms, 1993) and also Die Kunstdenkmaler des Rhein-Hunsruck-Kreises 2.2:
Stadt Oberwesel (Munich/Berlin, 1997), I. pp. 208-236.
Cheers,
Jim Bugslag
