£19,460 - £29,128 per annum
Aberdeen is part of an IRC (Interdisciplinary Research
Collaboration) in Advanced Knowledge Technologies to be funded
by the EPSRC for a period of 6 years. Applications are now invited
for a Research Fellow to work on Theory-driven data-analysis in
medical domains; additionally candidates will also be considered in
the following areas: Reuse of Knowledge Bases, Distributed
Constraint Solving, Ontology management environments, and Tools
to support domain experts acquire & maintain KBs. Research is
likely to entail collaboration with other AKT sites.
You should have either an Undergraduate degree in Computing
Science or a related discipline, and a PhD in a relevant AI/Cognitive
Science sub-area or industrial experience is essential. For some of
the projects experience with Applied Maths or Statistics would also
be an advantage. For details see
