Hope this is an acceptable use of the list.
We have funding approved for a fourth consultant and would be interested in
hearing from anyone with FFAEM or FACEM and advanced airway skills who might
want to work in an ED that has:
An in-house RSI program
24 hour middle grade cover (including 4 SpRs)
No follow up clinics. At all. None.
A pre-hospital care team
No issues with paediatric ketamine sedation
50% of minors seen by ENPs and ECPs (and proportion growing)
Supernumerary foundation year 1 docs
No MAU spill-over patients
A new co-located MAU being built (by Aug 06) with emergency physician access
to beds
Only 40 000 patients
A 3 star Trust
Opportunities to look at sessions in ICU or acute medicine if that's an area
of interest
Please email me off list if you know anyone that might want to do 'that
kind' of emergency medicine.
Cheers
Cliff
