The Oxford Book of Days says "..the feast was transferred to the 7th after
the Transfiguration had been added to the calendar." Which is technically
correct, as 1960 or 1969 are indeed after that date, but misleading :-)

In the Sarum calendar, a Major double feast.
Donatus of Arezzo [whatever happened to *him*?]
In the Sarum calendar, a Feast without rulers with simple Invitatory -
Reduced to a Memorial in later Sarum calendars, but keeping the Mass in the
service books.
