Here in Lewisham we are starting discussions about this service, and I am
interested in any information on the following points.
1. Are the books in the scheme kept solely for those with prescriptions or
can they be made available for any customers to borrow.
2. Some of the websites I have looked at say that it is not necessary to
belong to the library to borrow the books. How does this work out in
practice?
3. If a particular title is not available, are library staff permitted to
make customers aware of other titles in stock on the topic, even if they
may not be on the list?
Any other useful tips would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Chris Almond
