medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Thanks for the link to the church at Trani. The last site indicates (and Baedeker agrees!) that the double columns in the nave are unique in Puglia. I know of such double columns in many a cloister arcade; but what other naves are graced with such a support system? In Italy ir elsewhere?

Nick the Pilgrim's cathedral at Trani is always worth a look.
