I suppose that, in as much as the scope of the list is "educational
technology", the ET in CETIS, you could say we are defined by "what". We
(CETIS) also have a responsibility to support those in the UK who are
using the LOM, which means we are, in some circumstances, stuck with
the "how" that the LOM adopts.
However, I hope we don't ignore the "how": that would mean we ignore a
lot of what Pete Johnston has to say, and we wouldn't do that. With the
LOMNext activity which is starting up, now is a great time to be having
a discussion on how the description is made.
