Hi, Dora,
My son is in law school at Washington University in St Louis and he's just
starting to use Qualrus in legal research. We have a number of lawyers who
are using the program as well. I think you are quite right that legal
research is an excellent application for qualitative analysis programs in
general. They seem to particularly like using the powerful scripting
feature in Qualrus to adapt the program to meet their particular needs.
Best regards,
Ed Brent

I am a qualitative sociologist who has been using N6 for my research. Right
now, I am also in Law School, and I was wondering if anyone has any
experience with using qualitative software for legal research. I've
experimented with it and found it pretty helpful, since I'm doing content
analysis, looking for specific keywords and "themes," etc... I would like to
know if there is anyone else playing with this idea.

Hi John,
Greetings and thanks for the response, and your continuing interest.
We're of course very aware of (and sympathetic with) the requests from
Mac users. The current information on NVivo 7 doesn't include any
details about operating systems because a Macintosh solution for NVivo 7
is currently under evaluation. We'll be reporting progress on these and
other developments on the QSR Forum http://forums.qsrinternational.com,
and the QSR website www.qsrinternational.com.
cheers,
Lyn
