I agree with you. It's probable that Beckett played with A's idea/s and then
attributed to him something that A did not write. Anyway, it's very helpful
to focus on his work on the Psalms, thank you very much!

I didn't want to bring Godot into discussion as it has nothing to do with
this list, but Vladimir says in Act 1:
"One of the thieves was saved. (Pause) It's a reasonable percentage."
As you have pointed, later in an interview Beckett said he was fascinated by
the 'shape' of A's idea. But he says it sounds much better in Latin, which
he could not remember at the time -he had probably made it up!
