this Old Chestnut shouldn't start off the beginning of a Blurb on a scholarly
conference, it seems to me.
the true principle underlying astrology is not that the "stars" dictate or,
indeed, have any influence on, the actions of human beings, but rather that
the position of the "stars", being indications of the Congruence of the
various planes of the universe in which we live, can be "read" to be
reflective of conditions prevailing on this particular plan-et.
