well, i'll be jiggered.
i've been looking for a way to do that in Word for years and never found it.
Alt+U+0118 doesn't seem to work, but Insert/Symbol/Subset "Latin A" has both
upper and lower case tailed "e"s

am i right that i can consistently transcribe those as "ae" or "æ" or "Æ" ?
now, what the hell is "ogonek"?
Greek for "beard" ?
