You will probably be astounded to learn that there is a term 'nicolaitism'
(usually with a capital N).

Corèdon, Christopher and Williams, Ann, A Dictionary of Medieval Terms and
Phrases; D S Brewer, Cambridge; pp308; ISBN 1843840235 seems to be
recommended for this sort of thing.
