Dear All
I have searched the archives but couldn't see anything about what the
legal position is for playing recorded music from CDs on library premises.
Do other library authorities have a licence to play recorded music in
libraries? If so do we need one for each library or could we have a
single one that covers multiple sites? I've checked the Phonographic
Performance Licence website but it wasn't very clear. Also we have
Children's Rattle & Rhyme singing/music sessions - should we have a
licence for this type of activity? I would be grateful for any replies on
what others are doing.
