Emne: Call for Panels : European Educational Research Association Conference, Sept 05
Dear list members,
The History of Education Network (Network 17) of the EERA conference has over the past 5-6 years pursued themes and approaches which have generated new methodologies and approaches in the historiography of childhood and Education in Europe.
In particular, it has critically embraced a visual agenda that has led to significant publications.
The next European Conference on Educational Research will be held at University College Dublin on 7-10 September 2005.
The History of Education Network would like to call for panel proposals (ie individuals who will commit to putting a panel together) for this meeting.
The themes will be:
Visualising the body in the history of education
and
Children's art as education and research.
I am sure these two themes will stimulate a lot of interest and that this list should be the first to be offered the opportunity to respond.
I would like to invite and encourage list members to explore the sub-themes of the proposal on the list, thus generating some potential collaboration.
Closing date for panel proposals is February 1st
Best wishes
Cathy Burke (list owner)
