There are no saints listed for today in the Sarum Calendar, which is just as
well because by my calculation it is Septuagesima Sunday.
The Mass for Septuagesima Sunday gives way only to Candlemas and the feast
of the dedication of the church. (If either of those fall on Septuagesima
Sunday, the Sunday service is deferred until the following Tuesday.) Other
feasts - even double feasts - falling on a Sunday from Septuagesima Sunday
to Easter are deferred to the following day, and the Sunday service is
performed on the Sunday as usual, with no memorial of the feast that has
been deferred. However, a feast without rulers falling on Septuagesima,
Sexagesima or Quinquagesima Sunday receives a memorial at Matins and Mass on
the Sunday because it is not deferred but abandoned altogether; but any such
feast falling on one of the Sundays of Lent, Easter Sunday or the octave of
Easter is abandoned without receiving even a memorial.

from Septuagesima to Palm Sunday (Antico, 1991).)
