It does, I was a classics student in my youth.
BTW we are consistently hitting 99% 4 hour targets but I don't recommend it. A large teaching centre to the immediate North of us is up the creek without a paddle. Well yesterday they went belly up and the ambulance service starting bringing all their patients to us causing me to become apoplectic and threatened immediate resignation.
In that vein does anyone have a Locum for the next 6 months so that I can resign and move to a short term position should the situation happen again and I will call the Chief Exeutives bluff. I am hard working and come with good references.
The advice chaps is slow down a bit, get too efficient and you'll only have more work coming your way. Hit 100% 4 hour turn arounds and they will go down to 3 hours and the story goes on.
Best advice hit 60% 4 hour targets and they'll sack the management and give you more staff.
Two days to see your GP, 4 hours in and out of A&E, where are you going to go? The situation is like a rat on treadmill, once you get on you can't get off.
Best wishes to all the list
