medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I think it is time for, or has there been one already, a study on the effects of
discussion lists on scholarship.
I am interested if people make their postings mostly off hand and are sometimes
embarrassed by them later, or if postings are usually carefully thought out and
worded and therefore more a severe dissappointment than an embarrasment if
wrong.
I know that at least twice this year I was aware of a study before others at the
U of Penn because of things that were posted here. I also know that I have made
both off the cuff postings and careful postings.
Anybody?
