Apologies for cross-posting; I know Chris Knusel has already contacted
the APWG, but I thought other zooarchers might also be interested. The
seventh European Palaeopathology short course, organised by the
Department of Archaeological Sciences, University of Bradford and the
Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC, and held annually at the
University of Bradford, UK, runs this year from 7th-19th August.
Although originally and primarily concerned with human osteology, the
organisers would like to see more archaeozoologists involved, and are
hoping to include examples of pathological changes in non-human bone.
Dinner at one of Bradford's famous curry houses is a must, and has
become something of a course tradition!
See the description and booking form attached for more information, the
departmental web pages (http://www.brad.ac.uk/acad/archsci/), or email
Chris Knusel ([log in to unmask]) for further details.
best wishes,
Julie
