Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible, or if there are any published metrical or morphological criteria, for distinguishing the post-cranial bones of bats?
I have three specimens from a British Neolithic chambered tomb (a femur and two radii). The femur is complete, but I only have the distal portion of the radii; all three specimens are clearly larger than Pipistrelle (Pipistrellus pipistrellus), but beyond that I am stuck.
Thanks in advance
Richard
