Dear Zooarchers,
can anybody help me with two undetermined complete bones from one
eneolothic site in central Bohemia (the Czech Republic)? I have been
trying to identify them for long time.
Hypothesis:
Bone 1 (bone is very light – looks like bird´s one inside, see photo 1-B) –
photos 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, 1-D
* large bird fibula: I excluded Ciconia, Ardea, Bubo, eagles, vultures,
Meleagris, Pavo, Cygnus. I have not possibility to compare it with Otis
tarda!
* pathological bone: distal part of long bone lost? (proximal joint area
is similar to carnivore radius – see photo 1-A)
Bone 2 – photos 2-A, 2-B
* os penis
