Dear Naomi,
I do not know of any literature, but I have once come across an example
myself. It was from a goat (part skeleton) from a cave in NE Scotland. The
site (and the tooth) have never been published. It is the only example I
have seen in 20 years of zooarchaeological work in Britain.
