Katherine,
Yarldens 'the history of british mammals' book has a section - which I was
looking at just now. He lists Gussage All Saints, as the oldest IA (Harcourt
1979). And later Danebury and Maiden Castle, there are hints of mice earlier
i.e. at Brean Down but he refers to confused stratigraphy. I imagine there is
much more now, but I am sure someone out there will provide details......
