How are the preservation condition where the bone was
found? In bogs/swamps chemical conditions like weak
acids can alter the shape of a bone.
Did you check out seals ? or all smaller furry animals
in the size reign of rabbits, which relatively match
this ulna's proportions. (in the middle age there was
lot of hunting and trade for furs in Russia i read
some where)
