Hello
concerning the following problem I would appreciate any suggestions if I'm
on the right track.
In a parametric event related design with an experimental baseline, one
trial and it's parametric modulation with one parameter (1rst order)I would
like
to find regions that respond with "deactivation", resp. differential
activation with baseline (+1) > trial (-1),and show (increasing) parametric
activations with my parameter.
I thought to get those regions by applying the following conjunction:
colums in the designmatrix in the order ["baseline",trial, trial x parameter]
[baseline] > [trial](1 -1 0) conj. with
[parameter x trial] > [baseline] (-1 0 1)
1. Is there a specific problem in combining parametric and "categorial"
contrasts in a conjunction?
2. Can I enter "baseline" on both sides of the " > " ?
3. Are there arguments to better do inclusive masking ?
Thank you for any help - I'm just not sure and could't find answers in the
mailing list.
