Hello,
I'm reinstalling SPM99 and SPM2 in an attempt to avoid the erratic but
persistent Matlab crashes and miscalculations we experience on our Linux
workstations. Since SPM is reported to work fine for other users on very
similar systems, I've started suspecting that we have corrupt versions
of SPM installed here and that they're responsible for part of our problems.
So I've downloaded spm99.tar.gz and spm2.tar.gz.
Now I've also found some extra directories on the FTP site of the FIL.
For SPM2 I've found this directory dated January 2005:
ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm2_jan_05/
There's also a directory that seems to contain subsequent updates:
ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm2_updates/
Which updates should I be using? Note that I'll attempt to run SPM2
under Matlab 7.0.1 so I'll need the current updates for Matlab 7. Do I
need to apply the updates from both directories? Do I need only the
updates from the more recent "spm2_updates" directory?
For SPM99 I've found this directory:
ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm99_updates/
Should I copy the new files to the original SPM99 directory?
