The line is from a Thomas Wyatt sonnet beginning, "Whoso list to hunt, I
know where is an hind ...", argued to reflect Wyatt's involvement with Anne
Boleyn.
Another one by Wyatt in the same area (the futility of love) is an epigram
beginning, "Sometime I fled the fire that me brent ..." but I can't seem to
find a text of this on the Web to post.
