Cor blimey: I didn't expect to take a British survey, so some of my answers
reflected my Merrkun parochialism (e.g., I thought of The Guardian as
left-wing). Still, I too came out slightly left of centre (though I
described myself--as of American politics--as very left)--perhaps an
encouraging sign, given that about 18% of Brits have more radical views than
I do, or perhaps discouraging news for me as a comparatively fuzzy
almost-centrist :~(
(I do recall a socialist acquaintance in London regarding me with rather
haughty suspicion, as if I had a monocle secreted in my waistcoat--though I
didn't wear one.)
