Hi Alison
I cant believe how sweet people are! it is very kind that they are all so
concerned....
It does seem that I have lost all my books - yes all the poetry is gone,
including a lot of signed copies (which are now singed copies) and first
editions. Plus all my manuscipts and probably my journals (of nearly thirty
years!) I think I will be able to get my electronic files back - the
salvager seems to think we can extract them off the hard drive even though
the computer is trashed.
I find to my delight that I know some by heart... fragments keep coming to
me, and it is like recovering old friends.
Maybe everyone could send in a fave poem, and I could make up a little
'anthology' by checking the archives, to keep me company? It is very lonely
having no poetry to read. A part of my brain seems to have stopped!
thanks to everyone for their concern
love and blessings
Liz
