Hi Stephen
If someone (or some people) wanted to post considered reviews to poetryetc
on a regular basis, I would most certainly welcome it. I like very much the
idea of reviews existing in a place where they can immediately be questioned
and discussed.
I'm not sure however about formalising such a project in any way. Reviewing
is a considerable commitment.
As for "imprimatur": my opinion, fwiw, is that any work creates its own
"imprimatur". Ie, if excellent and thoughtful reviews were consistently
posted, they would be taken notice of. The medium is relatively irrelevant.
(One shouldn't ignore litblogging, either, which is rapidly creating an
alternative form of discourse.)
