It was Ruskin who advised would-be-poets to learn to do something with
as much skill with their hands as they had skill with their words. I
always took this serioulsy and have applied myself always in equivalent
(if not equal) measure in "mind" and "body" domains.
A skills aduit of this list could be very rewarding - as several members
have already pointed out - many of us find ourselves doing all kinds of
things in order to develope our practice.
