A position for a Postodctoral Fellow (PhD Student) is available in our
laboratory. We perform experimental investigations addressing single
molecules and supramolecular assemblies in nanoscale environments and are
expanding this effort to advance the basic understanding of molecular
switches or machines anchored at surfaces. This goal is pursued mainly by
temperature-controlled scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) studies.
Experience with STM or ultra-high vacuum techniques would be an advantage.
A PhD degree (resp. diploma/masters) in Physics or Chemistry is required.
