Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to announce the international Symposium on "Interstellar
Reactions: from Gas phase to Solids" to be held June 5-9, 2005 at the
Schloss Hotel Pillnitz, D-01326 Dresden, Germany.
The DFG "Forschergruppe Laboratory astrophysics" organizes the symposium to
promote the growth and exchange of scientific information in the field of
Laboratory Astrophysics and related areas. The program will cover the
following main topics:
Surface interactions (condensation, desorption, H-atoms)
Gas phase reactions (radicals, ions, electron-ion, deuteration)
Condensation (formation of hydrocarbons, cluster, nanoparticles)
The scientific program of the symposium "Interstellar Reactions: from Gas
phase to Solids" will consist of invited lectures and progress reports.
Contributed papers will be presented as posters in two afternoon sessions.
Since there is room for only 100 participants we suggest early registration.
Distribution of remaining places will be on a first come - first served basis.
For further information on the program, speakers, poster contributions and
registration, please see

We are certain that we will have a stimulating symposium and we are looking
forward to see you in Pillnitz.
Sincerely,
Hans-Jürgen Deyerl, on the behalf of:
The members of the FGLA
Chairman:
Prof. Dr. Dieter Gerlich
