The next meeting will take place at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery,
Chamberlain Square, Birmingham B3 3DH at 2.15 on Monday 14th February 2005.

From New Street Station exit through the rear. This is at the end of each
platform, up some stairs to a glass walkway coming out onto Navigation
Street. Cross the pedestrian crossing and walk uphill, you
should see the Museum's dome and clock tower. The main entrance of the
Museum is on Chamberlain Square, adjacent to Victoria Square. If you exit
the Station through the internal exits and end up on the station concourse,
escalators take you up to The Mall Pallasades (shopping centre), turn left
and exit unto New Street (road) via a long ramp, bear left to Victoria
Square. The Museum is adjacent to the Council House. For a map, see

For the Gas Hall, walk past the Museum's main entrance and turn right.
Entrance to the Gas Hall is diagonally opposite.
Further information about Birmingham and how to get there is
athttp://www.birmingham.org.uk/ Please note the railway station to aim for
is Birmingham New Street, not to be confused with Birmingham International.
For those travelling by car, Cambridge Street car park is the

For lunch there are lots of eating places in The Mall Pallasades, in the
Bull Ring, on New Street, the Edwardian Tea Room in the Museum, and Paradise
Circus which is across the Museum on Chamberlain Square, by Birmingham
Central Library.]
