Dear All,
Students pay for printing here, and as some articles can be 20+ pages, I
think there would be a riot if they were all required to submit copies
with their assignments - it would cost them a fortune! I too, thought it
might be a check against plagiarism, but in that case, they would have
to submit chapters of books they had read too. Because of the financial
and environmental cost, we positively encourage students to group
together to print out and photocopy resources, so this policy would go
against that. I really can't see the benefit of it at all...
