Adrian,
There was, as a result of a small follow-on project to sustain the future of INFORMS, a
recommendation to the JISC that INFORMS came under the umbrella of the RDN - as far as I am aware
nothing has been finalised, and that discussions are still taking place...
Regards,

Do we also need a concerted lobby to get JISC to fund the INHALE/INFORMS
hardware and technical support at Huddersfield? The tutorials we have
are very good IMHO but we need sustained infrastructure support from
JISC.
If they become unreliable people will stop using or updating them.

Please reply to me and I will summarise for the list.
I would be very grateful for any information with regards to software
which offers anything similar to the INFORMs software - ie which allows
you to offer two windows at a time which you can use to provide live
access to the open database or other service in one window and your
choice of text in the other.
Are there other services - freeware or commercial - which offer
something similar or have improved on it in any way?
Judy
