Hi,
Further to Louise's comments I wondered whether we could have clarification
on whether all full text content currently available at Triangle Journals
Ltd's site at: http://www.triangle.co.uk/ will be on MetaPress from the
beginning of 2006 alongside the new 2006 content?
I ask this question in light of our experiences with Dekker journals where
2006 content was only published on MetaPress with the pre-2005 content being
transferred across from MetaPress over a long period, a process which I
understand is still not fully completed. It didn't help that the redirect
from each journal on the old Dekker site at: e.g.
http://www.dekker.com/servlet/product/productid/ADA for The American Journal
of Drug and Alcohol Abuse only takes one to the main T&F MetaPress site
rather than to the specific journal itself, which hasn't been very helpful
for users trying to locate content that hasn't yet made it across to the
MetaPress site.
Cheers
Lesley

Thanks for raising that issue Louise - I apologise for omitting it from the
main announcement.
We have no plans to change the backfile access policy for the Triangle
journals but we will monitor the situation and review it at the end of
2006.
Do let me know if you have any further questions.

Although this is interesting news, perhaps T&F could confirm if they intend
to continue the practice of making Triangle titles freely available after a
year (or to honour this on the backfile of the titles they take over)?
Thanks
