Hmm, let's take an analogy of a "regular" file system: would you suggest
every user to keep a paper copy of their file systems, too? Because if
my FS gets corrupt, I effectively lose all the files.
A Grid data indexing service should be as redundant and robust as a file
system, or at least approaching it. I know it's a dream, but asking each
user to keep an own record of files is not particularly constructive.
