Please respond to "The Forum
for Information Standards in
Heritage (FISH)"
Dear All,
With apologies to those of you who don't know me, but I wanted to let you
know that I will be leaving English Heritage at the end of this month to
become Director of Environmental Informatics at the Centre for Ecology and
Hydrology (one of the NERC-funded research institutes ? www.ceh.ac.uk).
I have really enjoyed working with the FISH community over the last four
years (and earlier when working for MDA). I will continue to be involved in
the development of the CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model and will take a
keen interest in the development of MIDAS and the FISH Toolkit (and other
fishy activities). I wish you all the best of luck in this very important
work. If any of you need to contact me in the future, my email address will
be mastiff@ceh......... etc.
I guess it only remains for me to say "So long and thanks for the FISH"
(very obvious, no originality but I've been dying to say that!).
Best wishes,
Matthew
